Özgecan Aydin

Özgecan Aydin has participated in several field projects in Turkey since 2003 when she was still an undergraduate student in Bilkent University’s Archaeology Department. She received her M.S degree in Settlement Archeology from Middle East Technical University. Continuing her studies at METU, she is preparing a doctoral dissertation on central Anatolian domestic architecture in the Early Bronze Age. Her teaching and research interests include archaeological illustration and planning, ancient domestic archaeology and architecture in Anatolia, and 3D reconstructions. She joined the Department of Archaeology at Bilkent University in 2014 as a part-time instructor.
